To be mindful of your portions, when dining out with a friend(s), order one meal and ask the waiter to split it between the two of you. Most restaurants will accommodate this request. Again this offers the "perfect" portion and save money!
  2. To add richness to soups and sauces, try using pureed cooked vegetables. Return the smooth puree to your cooking pot and you will have creamier and thicker textures soups and sauces
  3. Remember we eat with our eyes first, so make your food SEXY! You can accomplish this by using an array of seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits.

     

  4. Step outside of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to trying different fruits and vegetables when you visit the grocery store.
